Peak Performance Academy was founded in late 2018 by Head Trainer Nick Smith. Nick had previously run a successful Boot Camp for over 6 years before deciding to diversify and grow the business. Peak Performance now encompasses personal training, group training & bespoke ‘e-training’ plans for running and triathlon clients. Peak Performance is continually growing and adapting to its clientele’s demands.

Nick has hand-picked the best personal trainers from East Anglia to create a ‘dream team’ of instructors to deliver his vision of total body and mind well-being.

 

About nick

Nick is a well qualified and highly experienced Personal Trainer & Boot Camp Instructor who has now worked with more than 1000 clients over the past 15 years to help them achieve their personal goals; from marathon and triathlon training, to fat loss, muscle building or simply improving fitness as part of a healthy lifestyle.

Over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry, along with a successful career in the Armed Forces, has helped Nick to develop his professional values; ingrained within which is a meticulous attention to detail, a high level of personal fitness and the temperament to work hard and motivate others to achieve their aims.

Nick continues to enjoy a wide range of sports and athletic interests outside of his professional life. Having represented the Royal Air Force at both football and cross country, he has recently achieved regional success running for St Edmund Pacers, recently completing the 2018 Greater Manchester marathon in a personal best time of 2 hours 55 minutes. Nick has competed in triathlons of all distances, including an Ironman event; a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride, finished off with a 26.2 mile marathon run!

DAN HEATH

Dan has been a Personal Trainer for 4 years with the aim of inspiring people to live a healthier lifestyle.

Each week he works with hundreds of clients helping them to achieve their aims and goals. He focuses on everything from weight loss and toning to marathon running and obstacle course racing.

Dan has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience from taking part in endurance events at a high level; last year he completed the Rat Race ‘Dirty Double’, a 40 mile/400 obstacle(!) race. For the past 2 years he has also qualified for and taken part in the Obstacle Course Racing World Championships. He is also an avid snowboarder, obstacle course runner, cyclist, rugby player and boxer so he has plenty of experience to help you train for a specific sport or simply to guide you through improving your lifestyle.

CHRIS HARMAN

Chris is a qualified Personal Trainer who is extremely passionate about helping people to achieve their goals and motivating them to do so. He believes in pushing boundaries and that the greatest things come from outside of your comfort zone!

He achieved a Diploma in Media Production and then had a complete change of heart and decided to pursue a career in fitness; aiming to improve both his lifestyle and that of those around him. Now he works as a Personal Trainer at a local gym where he has gained experience working with clients from all age groups and fitness levels.
